Why learning Ruby?

I'm learning Ruby Script.
It isn't my first learning program language.
I've developed WEB applications in PHP,VBS.

So I don't have to learn Ruby,especially.

But I'm eager to get into developing in Ruby.

Because,I'm Japanese and Ruby has been born in Japan.
I wanna cheer up Japanese Technology,and Japanese Economy with its technology.

That is,my insentive to learn Ruby comes from the Nationality.
I'm proud of my own country's cultures and technologies.
